It’s the day after Valentine’s and I may or may not suffer from a chocolate hangover: If you already checked out my latest blog post, you must have seen that I shared all about our stay in the most relaxing water-front property for a mini staycation. And while visiting this adorable part of the Florida Keys, we stumbled upon some very cute spots. The one pictured is one of them.

Its name; The Beach Café at Morada Bay. Its atmosphere; laid-back, relaxed and colorful. Most of the outdoor tables are set in sand. You can take your pick from those that have natural palm-tree shade or a bright-colored umbrella. We enjoyed a yummy lunch (the menu is a blend of Caribbean and American cuisine) while overlooking the most peaceful waterscape. Not only were we able to hear the island wildlife around us, but for music, there was a soothing eclectic take on tropical yet subtle tunes playing throughout the area.

If you are ever around Islamorada or on your way to Key West, drop by this picturesque resturant for lunch. The view and atmosphere is just worth it.
