That it was a little gloomy, yes; that overall it was amazingly spectacular, it sure was. Despite the brrr weather and a little bit of rain, London was an incredible experience. It was our first time visiting so we made sure to visit as many places as possible. We visited Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus (here), the London Eye, Stonehenge (post coming soon so stay tuned), the National Gallery of Art Museum, Tate museum, and so much more. Oh boy were we tired but oh so worth it. My hubby and I love to get to know every city we visit, we enjoy walking around the neighborhoods, riding the subways, getting lost within is labyrinth-like streets but specially its people and history. London is such an incredibly historic yet modern city; numerous important occurrences are credited to England. And just knowing that we were standing in the same grounds as possibly Winston Churchill or Princess Diana did was an immense and humbling feeling. Sometimes we have to get out of our comfort zone to experience the incredible memories you will once share with your grandchildren, heck, with your great-great grandchildren. So go on globetrotting, you will thank me.
