It could be challenging to transition to fall in warmer climates, but definitely not impossible. Here are a few tips on achieving just that. Miami Fashion Blogger

Fall is here loves! Well, at least in theory, because if you live in warmer climates like myself, you know the heat is still in its full force. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t start to transition our wardrobe until cooler temperatures arrive. Granted, it could be difficult to achieve this but not impossible.  I will explain below.

1. Include fall-friendly colors
Jewel tones (like in this look), neutral or darker shades scream autumn! And there is nothing more elegant, timeless and season-appropriate than the color black. I have to be honest though, I usually don’t wear it and have actually mentioned in previous posts that I always opt for vibrant hues more often than not. But there are exceptions and if you add it in a subtle manner, your look will play the part. Metallic hues are also perfect for the autumn season, so it’s time to take your favorite brassy or gold-tone pumps out from storage.

2. Add lightweight layers
It might seem like sweater weather is moons away, but the trick to achieving a similar look is to add lightweight layers to your outfit. By incorporating a bomber jacket, loose knit tops, chiffon blouses or kimono (like I did in today’s look) you will surely achieve those fall vibes.

3. Opt for ankle boots or mules
Choosing ankle boots or mules instead of OTK (over the knee) boots is a great way to incorporate fall into your outfit. And with the many options out there, I am sure you can find one a few that will make your heart flutter. I know I did not employ this tip in today’s look, but I opted for nude heels to elongate my figure, since the kimono overwhelmed it a bit otherwise.

4. Complement with fall-inspired accessories
I love, let me rephrase that, adore hats. Thus, one of the things I look forward the most during autumn are the floppy felt hats and patterned scarfs (preferably leopard). But ladies remember to opt for light fabrics. As for hats, well, the sky is the limit. You can opt for neutral shades, with ones that have metallic embellishments. But if you want to jazz up your look choose tones like burgundy (as I did here) or emerald.

Saludos
